Training Session on Malnutrition at the Saylani Welfare International Trust

Since its inception in 2022, the SHINE Humanity Malnutrition Program has been instrumental in addressing malnutrition in the rural communities of Sindh. Now, we are on a mission to educate medical providers on the prevalence and risk factors associated with it.
In a training session conducted at Saylani Welfare International Trust in collaboration with TMSG, our Programs Team covered its prevalence amongst children, pregnant and lactating women in rural Sindh. Attended by physicians, nutritionists, and Community Health Workers, the interactive session concluded with individualised practise using Mid Upper Arm Circumference Tapes to allow for detection.
